Weapon Emporium
This is both an ic flyer within the sewers of regalia, and a ooc example of many many varieties of weaponry you could have access to as a character within Aloria. Provided you're discreet of course. These weapons can be bought icly from the character Grey Silvers. Funds are provided by an undisclosed benefactor and through sold items.
"Welcome to Silvers black market weapon emporium. Here we have a collection of first hand, to second to third hand weaponry, of near any type you could possibly want! Take a look at our wares and come on down to the grove. If you don't know where that is, we don't want you to!
Broadswords
These swords have got some meat to them and an edge to both sides of the blade. They’re not cheap but these are the most common you’ll see, and for a good reason!
Falchion
These one-handed, single edged swords leave little to be desired! You get the power of an axe with the capabilities of a sword! Truly amazing. Due to the scimitar like ending to the blade, there is a little more weight concentrated there, making it more effective at chopping, hacking and slashing. These swords range from being curved like a cleaver, or straighter like a machete. Or maybe that’s the other way round? I don’t sell cleavers, I wouldn’t know!
Longswords
A sword commonly used by knights. We’re virtually out of stock for this popular but undeniably rare weapon. They’re long, mean and generally two handed. You can use them for slicing, stabbing, hitting prom all ranges, and really the entire weapon, even the pommel and crossguard is a weapon on these beasts of a weapon. Almost every longsword is personalised to its original wielder, so make sure if you get a choice, you pick the style that suits you most.
Knives and daggers
We got daggers, we got stilettos, we got chirros. Get your daggers and knives here. Daggers are effective double-edged blades used for stabbing or thrusting. They’re a definite must for a secondary defence weapon in close combat. Knives are somewhat different to daggers despite the similar size and shape. Knives are intended for cutting, so they’re generally only one sided. That is to say only one edge is sharp. This can be considered an advantage or a disadvantage. It all depends on your preference.
Anelaces
A short sword or a long dagger. However you describe it, an Anelace makes a fun and useful sparring weapon and a potentially lethal one. You can carry it at your girdle, your back. It’s interesting to see the sort of person who chooses something of such particular taste.
Clubs and Maces
Need a good ol’ ball on a stick? Maybe you want something spikier than a ball? Then our clubs, maces and mauls are here at your disposal! At the right price of course. These deadly weapons of blunt destruction are great for shaking up a confident foe in a shell of armour. Just batter them up a bit and watch the gooey yolk run out of that decimated eggy wonder. Morning stars, flails, war hammers, take your pick. Order in or settle on what we have, the choice is yours.
Pole Arms
A ball on a stick not your thing ‘ey? How about something lighter and more spiky on a stick? Or just the high quality top of the line stick? Quarterstaves, spears, winged spears, glaives, lances. Everything you want and more. We’ve got no end of space to house spears and the like, so don’t hesitate to ask.
Ranged weaponry
Now, we have ranged weaponry, but we sell ammunition separately. You don’t get your feather death sticks of goodness until we see payment. Everything from crossbows, to longbows. From javelins to cannon balls. Need a throwing axe? Well then you better have lotsa money. It takes a lot of effort to balance these babies out for a good straight throw. We do not sell cannons. If you think we have cannons, you definitely should not ask for cannons!
We hope to see you soon!"
